This is an illustration of my biggest fear in the world, darkness. When I think of darkness, I think of all the things that could be hiding in the dark, waiting for me to make one more move to attack me. I wanted to create a scenery of a dark basement, with all the possible creatures, ghosts, monsters that could be hiding in the darkness.
Awesome Contrasts of white and dark. I like the style of that drawn image and the idea behind the scenary. what i think could be better is the black edges, they are abit to big. The image amazed me cause of the story behind the scene that the little boy is scarred in the darkness for monsters and need the light to become save. Remembers me to my old time when i was a kid of 11 and i was alone at home i never wanted to be in a dark room. If i hered in the house something i run at the hole house to turne the lights on and jumped after all into my bet because i had in my had "if i stay on the floor the monsters will get me in my bet i am save"
Wonderful way to translate your fear to a visual medium - those creatures that lurk so close around you when there is no light. Marvellous! And very interesting monster designs to boot
wow very creepy. I'm scared of darkness too, and if those kinds of creature are hidden in darkness...that makes me happy we have light...although light makes it obvious they exist lol...very cool drawing and good luck with the contest
